The SLCA is excited to say Halloween is happening in Shawnigan Lake!
Participate at your comfort level with virtual contests for costumes, colouring, pumpkin carving, house decorating and even car decorating!

Want to get out of the house?
On Saturday, October 31st, get dressed up in your costumes and check out the SLCA's Halloween Creepy Crawl. A self guided ghouly drive-thru experience bookended with St. John's Academy and Shawnigan Lake School (Shawnigan Lake School's campus will open to the Creepy Crawl at 3:00pm).
Also, pop by the village to check out the shops spooky decorations, halloween happenings and, while you are at it, support local and buy some treats!

This Halloween be safe and have fun by grabbing the family and, just like you yell at the screen in a horror movie...

Please respect the locations and neighbourhoods of the Creepy Crawl. This is NOT trick-or-treating!

Stay in your car in the schools and neighbourhoods, drive slowly and safely and practise SOCIAL DISTANCING if you choose to leave your car to walk around and experience the shops in the village.

Four winners will be randomly drawn from all colouring submission on Monday, November 2nd, 2020 to receive a jack-o-lantern pail filled with Halloween candy. All entries will also be entered for one grand prize drawing for a gift certificate to a few of our Shawnigan Lake local businesses! ONLY ONE ENTRY PER PERSON PLEASE.
