Christmas Light Tour
This holiday season be safe and have fun by grabbing
the family and the car, to enjoy the Shawnigan Lake Christmas Light Tour!

Shawnigan Lake School Christmas Lights
Shawnigan Lake School has decorated their gardens with lights and welcome cars to tour the circle route to view the beauty on
Saturday, Dec 19th from 4-7pm!
​
Christmas Corridor of Hope
This holiday season be safe and have fun by visiting the Christmas Corridor of Hope, located between the Pharmacy and Demure Beauty (1769 Shawnigan-Mill Bay Road, in the heart of the town centre of Shawnigan Lake.
​
The Christmas Corridor of Hope will feature
hand coloured Christmas tree ornaments,
made by the kids of Shawnigan Lake!
​
If you would like to participate, please pick up an ornament picture to colour at the Shawnigan Lake Coffee House, and enter it by December 15th, 2020, for it to be laminated and displayed in the Christmas Corridor of Hope! Please drop off the coloured ornament pages at the Shawnigan Lake Coffee House in the drop box.
​
Please make sure that when you are visiting the Christmas Corridor of Hope, that you maintain the social distancing guidelines.
We want to ensure everyone stays safe and healthy.

Your child, teenager and/or family will also be entered into our grand prize drawing of a
gift certificate to a few of our Shawnigan Lake local businesses!
How the Contest Works
click "download" to Download a colour sheet you want, print and colour then snap a pic and
email it to: info@shawniganlakecommunityassociation.ca
Please include your child, teenager and/or family name along with the age of the colouring artist, your telephone number and email address so we are able to contact you if you win! Deadline for submissions is December 31, 2020.

Selecting the Winners and The Prizes
Four winners will be randomly drawn from all colouring submission on January 4, 2021 to receive a Christmas gift. All entries will also be entered for one grand prize drawing for a gift certificate to a few of our Shawnigan Lake local businesses!

Choose from one of the following categories, , and then create a Christmas Cookie with your child or as a family, to enter in a category!

Please include your child, teenager and/or family name along with the category of entry, your telephone number and email address so we are able to contact you if you win! Deadline for submissions is December 31, 2020.

Christmas Tree in the Village
Don’t miss the twinkling Christmas Tree that we built in the heart of the village, on the south facing wall of the gas station!
Letters to Santa Claus
A mailbox is located in the Shawnigan Lake Coffeehouse for kids who want to drop off a letter they write to Santa Claus!
Shawnigan Lake School Christmas Lights

Scouts Annual Christmas Tree Sale
The Scouts will be selling fresh cut Christmas Trees on Saturday, December 12th in the heart of Shawnigan Lake Village beside the Pharmacy!
Photos with Santa Claus
Westcoast Vintage will be offering “Photos with Santa” on Saturday, December 12th from 3-5 pm. and Sunday, December 13th from 3-5pm.This event will be safe and socially distanced.Treats will be served!
Signs of Hope Campaign
Keep an eye out for our new “Signs of Hope” campaign, which are on black and turquoise signs distributed throughout Shawnigan Lake! Our community wants to continue to support everyone through the tough year we have had, by offering lots of virtual hugs and hope!
